I joined a bowling league one year. Had a back problem and on one toss my left leg collapsed and down I went. Foul was all I heard but then one team of teens helped me up and asked if I was ok. These teens had problems come up and quit the league but they owed the lanes $60 for the games they didn't bowl. The lane was going to write the base where one of them was taking basic. Now having been in the army the last thing you want is for the brass getting a letter about you when you are in basic so I gave the league head $20 and said take up a collection from the other 44 people. I kicked in another $40 because not one of the other 44 people was willing to kick in a dime to help someone out.
