Dan, those are very interesting observations. The father is of primary importance in the development of a male child. If he is gone, or defective in his own life, the child feels like a rudderless ship on stormy waters. It is a moral crime that so many sons are being raised in single parent families by women that must scramble for a living. The child in a way, is abandoned.
