Sprintcar,
In reading through postings from yesterday, I came across your 2886, and was interested to find that CTRL is interested in fighting for patent rights and ownership right. This is very good.
It is very interesting that Robert Roche, the President of CTRL Systems, Inc., states that he has purchased the EXCLUSIVE rights of design, manufacture and trademark from the original company, Ultraphonics USA.
The plot thickens. His company has filed for a cancellation order to the TTAB concerning the ULTRAPHONIC trademark. And......according to him the "common law" rights go back to the first use in 1982 by the original developer. He says that the rights were purchased by CTRL Systems, Inc.
Now then, this assertion provides some fodder for all of us to check out. As I see it, either he is mistaken or he is right. Are there any of our lawyer friends out there who could help point us toward the way to verify his assertions?
Vic
