since i did not go to law school, it isn't easy for me to interpret all this. however, what it sounds like is that the
ministry of energy and mining exceeded its authority in asserting
jurisdiction over this particular piece of property; furthermore,
the ministry was officially advised beforehand that it was
exceeding its authority. on the other hand, there is no evidence
that placer dome acted in bad faith in seeking to mine the
property. obviously, this is good news for kry shareholders.
now why do i get the feeling that roy carson is holding
something back???
