Exactly. But the point, in case you missed it, is that this sort of foaming at the mouth belligerent self-serving victimology(how DARE someone suggest America is not perfect!!!) is precisely the stock in trade of extremists, the very attitude that fuels everything from our foreign policy right down to the Vice President telling Patrick Leahy to "go fuck yourself" on the senate floor. You can defend freedom of speech all you want. That doesn't make it right. Or truthful, or ..... Or haven't you ever had any kids?
