""market-based" fees" Seems odd (but not surprising) that you know more about lawyer's fees than an actual lawyer does. Not being a lawyer I can't know for sure, but my lawyer in the Bay Area was $400 per hour, and the guy I use up here in my new digs is $175. Are you saying that the bar association sets these fees? They look market based to me. ps - I wish I made either of those fees ;-)
