Larry, thankyou for responding. Market cap and industry position certainly are a key point. I like Alcatel's chips but they are still small time players. Until DSL takes hold Ascend is delivering next gen.products now. And I'm sure will be there with new cards/modules when xdsl is accepted. I believe we are talking about backbones here. Ascend is and will deliver new products in the very near future. Ascend has a track record with the large telcos and isp's and will continue to deliver quality products. I also expect more acquistions by Ascend. To me its also about timing. Ascend has been killed this year. It seems almost everyone is short term these days. Especially the funds, sentiment will be changing soon IMO. The fact is Ascend is well positioned for the next few years of steady growth. My experience tells me its easier to find the bottoms of companies than it is the tops. And this is the bottom! Jeff
