More cluelessness in that post Flappy. Very few lawyers are present at house closings in NH. In fact, almost none. The bank needs a lawyer to get the documents right but generally neither seller nor buyer has a lawyer. Also, in NH, title searches are done predominantly by title companies, not lawyers.... Many people do avail themselves of the "do it yourself" variety wills as well. In fact, we have a company here in NH that aggressively promotes the idea. Its called " We the People". Most lawyers are only too happy to see the type of work you describe go to others. Its is generally high volume low margin work and not usually very interesting or challenging.
