Recession? You sure wouldn't know if you went to suburban Detroit mall today. I could only do an hour, as that is just too many grabby people in one place my taste.

But they were buying. Pretty long line at the Kohls.

And, just a passing note, that BP gas station that I mentioned last summer took down all BP signs and references, well, they reinstalled them. Now it looks pretty much exactly like it did before they took those signs down. I guess putting the signs back up was cheaper than looking for a new franchise or going independent. Shrimp anyone?
