What has the potential to set race relations back is the reaction blacks have to The One's declining popularity and possible lack of success. If they play the race card and put his difficulties down to white racism, then I do think race relations will be set back considerably.

The outcome is up to the blacks and how they react to legitimate criticism of Obama's policies and governing.
