LindyBill, I'm with you on the rollercoaster ride on SDLI! Things have really changed in the past couple of years. The volatility doesn't feel like investing anymore, it feels more like gambling (both the ups and downs). I don't like having a feeling of gambling when I'm trying to invest. The movements in stocks like qcom/sdli/jdsu/cree/gmst/msft have really made me focus (or attempt to develop) upon a diversified investing strategy. The local store just doesn't carry enough Pepto! :)
