So GMP, thermal is not as bad in Quebec given cheaper hydro rates. You also have to look at purity differential from float to thermal treatment. Fact is, A) 80% floatation purity can get to 99.9% with thermal, but a stretch to get to 5N. B) Floated purity of 99.9% going to 99.9998% also requires energy.

Now lets see how your calculus arrives at the correct answer to the quiz bonus question.

Which of the above uses less energy to achieve 99.9998% purity? A or B
Of course they may use the same amount of energy input. (Kilowatt/Hours).
Hint: Is temperature gradient vs time domain linear?

Now what of your proprietary caustic bake? You should answer 2 questions. The quiz questions

1) Is the process environmentally friendly? yes or no
2) Has this proprietary caustic bake process ever been demonstrated beyond a perfect world lab environment with hand chosen samples? yes or no
3) Does your process require coatings or other processes that add to the cost?
4) Is there enough statistical supporting data to say the resource is homogenous?

If you can't answer these questions, you should not be posting non-sense trying to con or pass disinformation as fact.
