I don't work on campus. I take on contract jobs during the breaks. I don't work for $10 an hour when I can make much, much more.

And yes, the tax cuts have been good for me. But my income is well above the median. The tax cuts haven't helped those whose wages have been stagnant, thus losing out in the face of inflation for more than a decade. The tax cuts didn't make up for that at all.
