Steve: Please do recheck my numbers. In doing so, keep in mind that IOMI's last date of trading was August 4 and I used the closing prices on the following Friday, August 8, to determine the reallocation of the IOMI proceeds to the other stocks in your portfolio.
It's possible that if I had used another date, when the prices of those other stocks were lower, you would have come in first. So, out of curiosity, I checked the early August closing prices of the two stocks in your portfolio, GNVC & NRGX.OB, to each of which you initially allocated 20% of your $100,000.
For GNVC, from August 5-15, the August 8 closing price of $1.42 I used was the lowest except for the $1.40 closing price on August 11.
For NRGX.OB from August 5-15, the August 8 closing price of $.65 I used was the lowest except for the $.59 closing price on August 6 (there were no trades on August 5) and the $.60 closing price on August 11.
Without considering the closing prices of the other stocks in your portfolio, if I had used the August 11 closing prices for GNVC & NRGX.OB your portfolio would have done about $1,000 better, still not enough to beat Robert.
