UVA's strategy is to get off a quick shot, or, absent that, hold the ball for as close to 30 seconds as possible and make the other team work on defense as long as possible. I'm going to assume Texas Tech, known for their defense, does the same thing. So, knowing that, does either team then decide to change their game plan by speeding up the game? Some people swear by doing what you do best no matter what the competition, while others say you need to treat every match-up differently. All I know is that when "everyone" predicts one thing, the opposite tends to happen.
