Manufacturers are complaining about the strong dollar, which makes our goods more expensive overseas. Look for the Fed/Treasury to examine that in the near future.
They won't announce, "We will now bring down the dollar," it's just something likely to happen if the economy stays as weak as it is.
So, yes, there are other things they can do besides lower interest rates.
