In my experience, PPI is equal to or lower than expectations probably 75% of the time, so here's hoping tomorrow follows suit. CPI isn't quite as reliable.

Well if the number is bad and there is a selloff, i am going to look for more speculative options---ie near term October to November. Likely to pick Intel over MSFT in these ones.

The only short term ones i currently hold are the Nasdaq100 trust units---QQQ calls for October(i think i am more diversified that i thought). I made enough on these ones and am considering selling them and buying further out in time such as January or later.

I just wonder how the Yen/Dollar biz unfolds. It can't be all bad for the tech stocks---more exports of technology and better conversion rates for their bottom lines.

Also looking for some trading opportunities in case we get big rallies or big selloffs for the September expiration (puts and calls)
