15:23 ET Metromedia Fiber (MFNX) 1.84 +0.40 (+27.8%): Couple rumors making the rounds today on MFNX. One is that WorldCom (WCOM) is considering a bid for the provider of dedicated fiber optic infrastructure and Internet connectivity. Also going around is rumor that company is close to securing additional financing.
