Yes, but Biden invited him to do so. Under a competent president, and certainly under Trump, it would never have happened. Period.

Well, it was for years. I'm not so sure it is today. I would say China's is quickly moving to overtake us. Their GDP grew by 5.2% vs our 2.5% last year. This is not likely to be a one-off. And other countries are doing well, too.

We are in serious economic trouble and while that may get better it will only be if we have a sustained period of more conservative economic control, and I don't really see that happening.
