HouseHold Direct to Launch Intensive Member and Investor Awareness Campaign
NEW YORK, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- HouseHold Direct.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BYIT - news). HouseHold Direct announced today that it would initiate an aggressive marketing campaign on the Internet with well-known promotional partners to increase the public awareness of the corporate business plan and the benefits of membership beginning on Monday, November 27, 2000.
The campaign will be coordinated with the end of the individual shareholder sign-up process which terminates on December 1, 2000. This promotion gives shareholders the ability to receive the basic membership benefits for 1 year at $49.95, and waives the monthly recurring fee of $9.95 for the first year of membership (January 1, 2001 to January 1, 2002) -- a savings of almost $120.00. These memberships also include a special travel package that consists of two (2), FREE, free round-trip airline tickets on Delta with the purchase of specific hotel accommodations at Wyndham and other fine hotels. These hotel rates carry significant discounts as well. The estimated value of the travel package promotion exceeds $500.00.
The Holiday ``gift membership'' program allows shareholders to purchase up to nine (9) additional memberships that may be transferred as holiday gifts, representing an additional savings of over $1,000.00. The Company will waive the monthly fees for the ``gift memberships''; and, all ten (10) memberships ordered during this offering period receive the travel package. After December 1, 2000, the new retail membership promotional campaign will begin.
As a key part of this coordinated effort, the Company will announce simultaneous contracts with a series of corporate and individual investor profile Web Sites that have a mailing list capacity to organize public investor awareness.
