LindyBill,

must stop all financial and military aide followed by a full embargo.

In your dreams, TV

One thing I do know about American foreign policy is that the bottom line is what is best for America's interest-period. If continuing support for Israel is bad for America's interests, that support will stop. Just watch what happens when oil goes over $30/barrel.

What action do you propose instead of a full embargo, to change Israeli policy on the creation on Palestinian state? A Likud extremist will surely assassinate any leader who moves forward on these issues. As for the settlements remaining in a new Palestine, Israeli settlers can decide for themselves where they wish to live in Palesitine or Israel.

I also believe that once a Palestine is created, a strong fence should be built along the Israel-Palestine border and be manned by UN forces for at least two generations, until the majority of those alive have no memory of recent events.
