Oops. Can I blame it on multi-tasking? My skimming skills aren't what they used to be... Now that I've actually read the thing, I can only conclude they are losers. "I think it's safe to say that we've thrown in the towel on the Schumer race," said one senior Republican strategist They probably have a better shot at knocking off Schumer than Bush does taking New York. I'm not convinced holding the convention there gives Bush a bump that will last into the election. And to not strive 100% to win that Senate seat is just weak. They need some young turks to come up in the leadership and shake things up.
