What do people think about the latest news from AMER?
AOL (AMER) stock has been falling for some time now.
yesterday, Steven case (president) sent a news saying that,
excluding one time legal charges, (not known how much, any ideas?)
the company will meet or exceed analyst expectation of 0.16 for
the quarter, this news sent the stock reeling upward by 2.75
points.
How do people interpret this news? does market accept such conditional meeting of expectations? (I mean the legal charge is
a true cost that will not increase the company's worth).
Would this help AOL to move back up, or will the stock still
fall when the final earning report is out?
In other word, does it still qualify as a short candidate?
any responses appreciated.
Thanks
