I was thinking about the line of thought that blames Churchill for the ills of Kenya.

A Kenyan farmer eats and drinks today what his forefather's ate and drank a 1000 years ago. And his hut hasn't changed as much in a score of centuries as Fashion changes here in a score of weeks.

But when he goes out to kill, he carries a AK-47 instead of a club. His medical care, even at a hut level, is probably better, due to NGOs, than his ancestors could ever dream of.

The wonderful changes he likes in his life come from Western Civ. Specifically, Anglo Saxon Civ. For his descendants here to badmouth the people who made this possible is utter hypocrisy.

But normal.
