I agree with you that BO is really not very smart although politically savvy when it suits him.

In this instance, I suspect the pause was likely due to the fact that he agrees with Holder, but knew it was not politically expedient to say so.

Really, he must agree with Holder. He's played the public for fools for years, relying on the race card to make up for his considerable deficits.
