Mike--Oh yes, absolutely you are right...

Knowing the results of the charts is unimportant because your premise is wrong regardless of whether the Gilder Game or the Gorilla is doing better on a year-to-date basis. The Gorilla Game is a very long-term play, making any comparisons of less than a few years and ideally ten years invalid.

The "premise" was really more a sporting one--in the light of someone (can't remember who) within the last few days using the term "Gilder Game" in this context. But--seriously--in these times of generally compressing multiples, I think it is fairly interesting to see how resilient these gorillas are.

I mean, these are unusual market conditions to be sure--and a singular one in the life of these gorillas I guess--so doesn't a look at how they hold up in a bearish time like this seem a little valid?

But anyway, I know I was wrong to do it and I will NEVER NEVER do it again... NEVER!
