Yum. Fresh Walleye... butter... almond slices... frying pan... fire. Walleye is one of the best fish there is... easily right on a par with a nice sea bass or a red snapper... The two others close that can be better... Sea Bass... Hog Snapper... and then, Dolphin / Mahi Mahi... a really good fresh Tuna... etc. But, in any case, Walleye is vastly under-appreciated, given it is as good as it is... Maybe it matters what waters it is taken out of... But, fishermen seem to trend toward a preference for trout and salmon... which I think are clearly inferior eating compared to the Walleye.
