yes you still need to call to cover shorts, no email allowed, but should be able to on computer soon, we are told.

Forget it. They will never improve their webBroker. The local branch manager knows me by now for all the feedbacks I have been giving him about the ways to improve webBroker for the last 7 months. He just kept giving excuses and said they are working on it. Ya, give me a break. Net, webBroker is extremely poor for daytrade, but good for placing trade at night or morning before market opens. I have a Datek account and it is great for daytrade. But Datek doesn't allow stops for NYSE/ASE stocks. No BB stocks either. But they are beginning to offer more services like checkwriting.

I've been an account holder since 1990. I have three accounts with them and is thinking about having two more (educational IRA) with them. I like them more for their overall service (including live broker and touchtone telephone access and able to speak or even walk into the local branch to settle complaints).

There are lots of room for further improvement for all of the current electronic brokers, IMO.
