Great deal of evidences already showed that US and British officials fabricated "proofs" about WMDs to paved the way to war(even without their intelligent departments’ approval about the “evidences” which they used to address the nation or in UN).

In fact, I believe the pro-war hawks rushed to invade and take over Iraq was more likely they already knew Iraq had no WMDs and was a great easy meal to swallow. On the other hand, the other “devil” state N Korea openly declared it had nukes, but the war hawks only want negotiation. They are smart people, you know.
