if there is a problem with him I wouldn't say its one of not having a history of being a warrior. I agree. I know we had a Zoomie BG Flag as the CO for SO in Hawaii running things during the initial Afghan campaign. Trash hauler BG. Made mistake after mistake during the final Tora Bora campaign. The Navy Admiral running SO out of the Area command in Florida kept shipping unqualified Seals into the Afghan mountains. Terrific Seals. Not trained for mountain fighting. Fish out of water.
