Perfect storm of events to get our flooding. A very wet Fall saturating the ground before the Winter freeze. Unusual amounts of snow and cold weather, undoubtedly due to GW(g), a rapid melt this Spring and 8 inches of snow a couple of days ago. It is surreal to see National Guard Humvees driving thru the water in front of the house and a little bit later a fleet of NG helicopters overflying the area. Anybody know the Guinness record for number of consecutive games of Chutes and Ladders, or Candyland ever played? I have my son and family staying with us for the duration because of mandatory evacuation in there part of the city. The 4 year old grandson is a terror at these games. It could be a long week!
