I hear lots of good things, too. I was just pointing out that everybody is already in the pool. This is the point where a contrarian buy-and-holder says goodbye and looks for another pool. What happens when you (and those billion-dollar hotshot growth funds) start hearing negative things, like "missed estimate?" In today's Journal story, one fund manager said he doesn't care about price; he has to own growth, so the price doesn't matter. growth is a scarce commodity, its value only goes up, etc. Quotes like that will make great why-didn't-they-see-it-coming stories after the correction.
