Re: Income Growth Year Over Year.

OLDER FOLK PORTFOLIO:

This portfolio is showing 23.2% income growth year to date 2021 over year to date 2020. The focus has been on higher yielding income assets and that is paying off in growing the income flows now as opposed to later. I would like to maintain 20% dividend growth this year so I have a small margin of safety.

MIDDLE AGE PORTFOLIO:

This portfolio is showing 13.6% income growth year to date 2021 over year to date 2020. I had been trying to balance growth and income with this portfolio but I need to generate more income for the remainder of the year. The objective is to show 16% income growth this year over last year.

YOUNG FOLK PORTFOLIO:

This portfolio is showing 7.9% income growth year to date 2021 over year to date 2020. I have been buying companies that mostly have less than 1% yields but potentially higher dividend growth for next year and beyond. This portfolio is ahead of schedule in meeting the long term income objective so I can afford to take a small hit this year. I would like to show 10% income growth but I still have companies lined up for purchase with yields under 1%, so I have placed all of my higher yielding assets on dividend reinvestment and hopefully I can generate a little more income that way.
