Point taken. :-) That is a good name, too. I should not have made my last comment about you. I apologize for it, bc it was stooping far too low.
It is frustrating watching the SteveG and Pat fued for everyone here. I have met Pat a few times and I just have a very hard time conceiving how someone could be bitter towards her. She is very smart, generous, enthusiastic and funny and I just wish you knew that. That's all.
You mention that she did a LOT of digging. Well, in my opinion, she did more digging than anyone else on this whole thread. I think there is literally a grand canyon of xDSL info on her hard drive.
No one is perfect in these boards. Investing cannot avoid emotion entirely, and there is always miscommunication. Always. When one is literally communicating with dozens of people at the same time, there is no way that someone won't take something the wrong way every now and then. Does that mean someone is never wrong or right...absolutely not. Just that there is a lot of grey area, in my opinion, and it might be better to try to solve certain problems better or faster with a certain poster/s than to keep them a little bottled up (about particular posts) for a long time.
