Thanks a million Rick and Gottfried. I had already reinstalled adobe reader guess I clicked on the older version by mistake, duh. Maybe a senior moment. Anyway I can now open and view PDF links, but I think my old PDF files may be toast. Nothing that can't be replaced though. Thanks again for the help, you guys always come through.
