As cable companies move to embrace more content online, they're increasingly turning to white-label video publishing provider thePlatform Inc. to manage it. Today the company announced it was chosen by Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE: TWC) and two other MSOs.

thePlatform, which is owned by Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), has now scored deals to manage video on portal sites for four of the top five cable properties in the U.S. In addition to Time Warner Cable and Comcast, the company also provides the video management platform for Cablevision and Cox Communications, according to The Wall Street Journal's report.
