DaimlerChrysler AG (DCX) The National Post reports in its Wednesday,
Feb. 23, edition that Alternative Fuel Systems jumped 99 cents to
$2.69 yesterday on the Canadian Venture Exchange. The National Post's
Market Action column reports that the Calgary-based developer of
diesel-gas fuel systems rocketed after DaimlerChrysler said it had
developed a new diesel-electric hybrid that is at least three times as
efficient as the average gasoline-powered vehicle. The all plastic car can
travel at speeds as high as 130 kilometres per hour and has a driving
