Apparently the patch is coming out very soon. However, it might be a little more complicated than that. Microsoft has posted a notice on their Win 95 site indicating that the product was never compliant with Win 95 certification. No one even knows how they were able to get the Win 95 logo on their boxes! In fact Microsoft has indicated that some of the resident program code was lifted from an earlier Beta version of Win95 and consequently have issued a "cease and desist order". Further, rumours are that there are a couple of pending class action suits against the company and or Shareholder Solutions. The unbelievable irony here is that the software continues to be an all time best seller, week after week. And the company is probably going to report per share earnings for the second quarter of another .10-.15 on top of the .29 already reported for the first quarter ended in September. I've also heard rumours of a massive buy back of its own stock and even a supposed joint announcement with Microsoft to essentially clear the program once and for all. Once again, this is either the buy of the century or we are a witness to the biggest scam we have ever seen. If you hear of anything let me know. Wayne
