E-Trade...My question too is one involving a seeming "overload" of the system. One of the recurring problems involves confirmations being reported on the screen. After many discussions, the confirmations now appear much quicker, at times. There are still slow confirmations when traffic is heavy [usually first hour of trading]. Question: I've been told it's a programming problem, and not one of capacity. What does this mean to me, the end-user, and when can you guarantee a better level of consistent service? Also, I am very concerned about the new +million dollar ad campaign to enlist new customers..This can't be beneficial to future system performance. Also, how about a "tiered" commission structure, for those of us who do more trades?
