I disagree with your point about Amazon.com and not being effective in Canada. My experience has been that even with duty, exchange and expenses, I am still saving 20-25% over Chapters retail prices with online orders from Amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com.

It remains to be seen if Chapters will follow Amazon.com's discounting
for online orders.

I like the stores, however I've been at several across Canada in peak
hours where the staff outnumbered the customers.

Don't own any but will start following the stock.
