Attention Business And Technology Editors:

DocuCorp Signs $2 Million Contract to Deliver Europe-Based Customer Correspondence System

DALLAS, Nov. 23 /CNW/ -- DocuCorp International (Nasdaq: DOCC), a
leading provider of document automation software, services and outsourcing,
today announced it has signed a $2 million contract to deliver a Europe-based
customer correspondence system for a global financial services organization.
DocuCorp said it will provide a combination of software products and
professional services to deliver a system that will be integrated with several
legacy and client server systems linking the organization's European offices,
and that will produce correspondence automatically and interactively in nearly
a dozen languages. Software and services revenues will be recognized over the
next three fiscal years under the agreement.
"This is our largest overseas contract, and the quality of our software
products and services allowed us to win it under highly competitive
conditions," said Michael D. Andereck, DocuCorp's president and chief
executive officer.
"The fact that we made our European presence more tangible with the recent
startup of a London office strengthened our bid," Andereck said. "Further, it
also was critical that we had the personnel resources to put an expert team of
systems integration specialists on site to deliver our Y2K-driven solutions."
DocuCorp markets a portfolio of open-architecture, enterprise-wide,
document automation software products that enable its customers to create,
publish, manage and archive complex, high-volume, individualized documents.
The company also provides document automation consulting, application
integration, and document processing, printing, and mailing services.
DocuCorp has an installed base of more than 800 customers, including many of
the largest insurance, utility, financial services, higher education, and
telecommunications organizations.
