Company Press Release

Commercial Concepts Announces the Launching of an Additional E-Commerce Internet Site to Market Its Expanded Line of LAN Products and PC Novice Manuals
Commercial Concepts Provides Direct, World Wide Marketing of the PC Novice Educational Series of Magazines and Reference Manuals
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999-- Commercial Concepts, Inc. (NASDAQ:CMEC - news) of Salt Lake City, Utah will launch marketing of its Networking Products directly to the consumer through an interactive web site at Yahoo! Virtual Store. Yahoo! (NASDAQ:YHOO - news) is the leading Internet portal for online shoppers and will help the company introduce its high quality LAN hardware products to millions of consumers.

Commercial Concept's line of LAN (local area network) products were designed with a strong focus on the ''SOHO'' (small office/home office) and Educational markets. Research shows the main barriers to network products in these markets are: high costs, products which are difficult to understand, and products with difficult set up procedures.

With this focus in mind, CMEC's Networking products are designed and manufactured to be both easy to understand and to have a lasting value. To this end, CMEC covers all of its networking products with a full Five Year Warranty, and provides driver software to enable all CMEC products to be used in a variety of environments right out of the box. These environments include: Windows 95/98, Windows NT, NetWare, DOS, and Macintosh. By simply inserting the appropriate PC or Macintosh installation disk which is included, the customer is able to use the same product in whichever environment they prefer.

The Networking product line includes: PCI cards for both PC and Macintosh desktop computers, (10 Mb Ethernet and 10/100 Mb Fast Ethernet), Hubs for use with 10 Mb, 100 Mb or a combination of 10 and 100 Mb Ethernet networks, and PCMCIA (PC cards) for both PC and Macintosh laptop computers (10 Mb Ethernet and 56K modems).

Commercial Concepts will also begin marketing PC Novice Learning and Reference Series Instruction Manuals to online consumers. These excellent publications are often sold out in retail stores. Since many retail stores cannot economically stock a complete inventory of these quality HOW TO materials, by making them available on the internet, many more consumers will be able to obtain these easy to use reference materials by custom ordering. Past issues will also be archived and provided as downloadable text. The company will also offer specials and provide purchase incentives of free software. Bonus incentives such as proprietary software will be offered to customers who make multiple purchases. Free shipping will be provided on all purchases.

Some of the PC Novice subjects in print include: Windows 3.1, 95/98, and Windows NT, Netscape, Building Web Pages, The Web and Internet, Upgrading, Windows Tips, Y2K, Portables, Hardware, Troubleshooting, Computing for Kids, Windows 98 Tips and Tricks, and AOL.

Commercial Concepts, Inc. manufactures and markets PC software and hardware products which include Quick-Fixx 2000, one of the best Year 2000 PC Software solutions for the ''Millennium Bug.''
