I also subscribe to SSR, but only got my copy today. sort of explains why the
recommended stock is always a couple of bucks higher when I see it. The article
feels that Positron Emission Tomography (PET) is the iminent replacement for MRIs,
and is a lot better in finding troubles. PET is claimed to be 10 times more power-ful
than MRI.

No estimate is given for future price targets, in fact, warnings are made regarding
future near-term earnings that probably will go down due to investment in PET tech.
There is also an FDA problem. The FDA has ruled that isotopes produced in cyclotrons,
like Syncor's FDG, should be regulated by the agency's good manufacturing practices
guidelines rather than state level pharmacy rules. Syncor is challanging this ruling.

The bottom line however is a strong recommendation. Who knows. I plan to watch it
for awhile.
