That's assuming a direct correlation between supply and price (which I do not assume). I do not disagree with the possibility of lower prices for crude however I would argue that the abundant supply will have a geometric effect on prosperity and subsequently demand. So the increase in supply could easily and quickly become irrelevant proportionate to the potential for rising demand.
