I have seen similar posts, and worry about your concerns
myself. I visited:

diamondmm.com

and felt somewhat buoyed by Diamond's attempt to address
its failings. But not completely. You may be right.

As for consumers knowing the market, here's my theory:
in the long run, yes. But in the short term, which is
what I consider a July-December buy to be, the market
drives the stock. And "the market" can be something as
inane as a press release.
