NT LIES: www4.zdnet.com Cost Issue of SUN vs NT It is always the hidden costs that are commonly ignored. The PC was much cheaper to purchase than the Mac but when you factored in issues such as support it ended up being more expensive in many cases. Its like buying a cheap car that spends most of its time in the shop. So what if a Intel/NT server solution is cheap. Does anybody really believe the prices won't skyrocket as MS got more and more market share?
