Having fun? Enjoy the moment. From experience. They don't last.
Ya, kinda like gloating about winning a sodomy battle.
John, Hilarious moments do have staying power.
LB posted... "The prevailing thinking seems to be, "if these various Government programs are going to stay, lets change them so that they are not longer Government run..." You see this with outsourcing the workforce. You no longer have Government workers who always vote for the left, and you gain private contractors who will contribute to the right."
LB has further made the point that social security is in trouble...I know that is not news to you...You go to great pains to tell us how the repubs are screwing it up.
Yet you never account for your tenored professorship that (similar to a federal judgeship) is for life. You fail to account for the fact that under demo leadership neither your pension nor the pensions of congressmen, senators, nor any other significant federal agencies (except the military) are included under social security.
Your paycheck is guaranteed...as is your pension. You are educated and you own the silver spoon. There is no excuse for your continued unwillingness to carefully examine and debate both sides of the issue.
I will let you in on a secret...The final analysis for most with a left-center to right tilt is... what is your program doing for freedom. I was not surprised to see you disown sodomy after my second last post...but let me remind you, that after the supreme ruling, you told LB that you finally had something to gloat about.
Let's face facts John, You Have been arguing your paycheck. Student testing may challenge your work ability. Best student selection (if approved) may have challenged you to work harder. Like congress, social security may not affect you at all, but it does provide an old cover for arguments you and demos like to make.
Times are tough across the board...classified tenure is old-fashioned. Demonstrable results are being demanded.
If necessary, remember to sign up for food stamps at your local social services office. uw |
