I agree completely that the moves towards enabled customers to "self service" their own accounts is an incredible play. I remember attending a conference in San Francisco where the presidents of Fedex and HP both talked on this subject. They explained the huge cost savings (millions of dollars) when they allowed customers to use the web to track packages (Fedex) and to download their own printer drivers (HP) ...
