I was thinking the same thing..Josh Marshall had an excellent post(yesterday, I believe) that talked about how he thinks that picking Palin was the last straw for the media folks who'd fallen in love with his R maverickness and been seeing it decline during this campaign..

I suspect they've been talking like this for a while and one of the crew......a liberal MPLS crew member....decided to leave the mike on and then taped it. <g>

disagree what one will with Peggy Noonan but she's not a hard right idealogue..
