Yes, there are kooks on the left. I've never said there weren't.

We could both easily come up with examples of acts of violence perpetrated by people on either side of the political spectrum. (Though why you bring up Code Pink demonstrations, I don't know, since I don't consider women baring their breasts in public to be violence.)

And do threats count?

I could talk about the recent shooting of in Knoxville, and abortion clinic bombings. You could talk about ... well, I'm sure you can come up with some actual examples. I don't agree with your characterization of the Rodney King riots, but I see your point. If we have to chalk that one up to one side or the other, I guess the left deserves it.

But none of that is really the point. The fact is that people on both ends of the political spectrum have done some loony things, ranging from the silly and entertaining (boob flashing) to the horrific (Oklahoma City).

And there have also been many acts of violence in this country that had no political motivation (Columbine shootings, etc.)

That's the only point I've been trying to make.
